have u ever just traipsed into a spot and instantly u just wanted to sit down kick off your shoes and stay awhile? that is Hill Street tavern..it is a cozy spot that is brand spanking new..and they have a hypnotic combination of a cool ambience, live music, killer drinks and retro stuff like a dart board and boiled peanuts that make u want to stay awhile and hang out..and if you fancy leaving the bar and getting your grub on.the menu is quite tasty! i had the burger and it was fantastic...my guy enjoyed the discount pints of beer and i loved that it was lady friendly, complete with backs on the bar chairs and a super clean restroom....ladies how cool is that? :-) i encourage u to drop thru the next time u are in need of a little food, drink and fun in the Grant Park area!

Dang this restaraunt is cool! located in the now defunct Utopia (thanks for the memories Utopia!)..the food is yum and the vibe is laid back but sophisticated with a jazzy bluesy twist..so grab ur smooth Cat Daddy and slide on over to acoustix..its a joint that John Coltrane and Miles Davis would have been proud to play in!
